The Fourth Annual Heritage At Towne Lake Car Show took place at the Heritage Lodge in Cypress, Texas on February 23rd. Each year the Car Show has grown from its humble beginnings in 2010. This year’s Car Show had 134 registered cars on display and over 2,000 visitors.
The Car Show supports 3 charities and the Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM). CAM was the recipient of a food drive supported by the car owners and residents of the Heritage, an active 55+ adult community.
Car Show founder, Joe Incognito, told a packed ballroom at the Lodge comprising of car owners and visitors/residents that Car Show V in 2014 will be bigger than this year with a stronger concentration on classic cars. He also mentioned that the Heritage is holding its first Octoberfest at the Lodge and is looking for classic car clubs to fill the 40 car slots in October for a boutique section of the Octoberfest activities.
Joe can be reached at 281 728 5784 if you have any questions or suggestions regarding the Car Show or the Octoberfest.
Ed. note: We have a BUNCH of pictures from the show. (Thank you to Amber Miller and the folks at Towne Lake!) For space reasons, we can’t include them all at one time. We’ll include some now, then replace them in a few weeks. So let’s start (of course!) with our members’ cars:
Keith Steber’s 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible:
Mike and Frances McNeil’s 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV:
Neil and Sharon Pierson’s 1963 Lincoln Continental (with grim-faced driver):
Dean and Diana Forbes’ 1956 Continental Mark II:
Terry Lyons’ 1960 (red) Ford Sunliner:
More pics in a couple of weeks!
